I mentioned a few weeks ago that my fellow Jems had decided to do a blog hop of retired products so you could see what is still available until the end of May. However, you do have to be quick as most of the favourite items are selling like hot cakes and some are already out of stock.
I though I would show you today one of my favourite stamp sets, as well as some lovely DSP – 6″ x 6″ Cherry on Top designer series paper, 48 sheets in the pack and what a lovely colourful pack it is! The stamp set is photopolymer and quite big sentiments, (I’m a sucker for large sentiments). It is the BRAVO STAMP SET! There are 13 stamps for only £23.00 (Item code: 135380) and this is what I did with just a few of the stamps.
Using plain white card stock I created a border with the congratulations stamp, bit of DSP and the huge congrats in the centre. You don’t need much more than that to make a stand out card.
Next I used the DSP again and embossed the congratulations stamp for maximum effect. It stands out and looks fab.
I struggle with male cards usually but this was quite a simple one to put together. Again with the DSP as the background and picking out some of the lovely splattered colours for the sentiments.
And finally, a take on my first effort with the congratulations used as a border, DSP to frame the card and a couple of sentiments to say it how it is, simple.
Hope you like what I have done with this stamp set, remember you only have until the end of May to order from the retired list. But I recommend you order early to avoid disappointment as things as selling fast.
I’m really looking forward to joining our monthly blog hop as it is forcing me to craft and think about what I am using.
